Relm is built so that your library never reaches us. We don't have accounts, analytics or a server that stores what you save.

Your library

Everything you save stays on your Mac. If you turn on Sync with iCloud, it's stored in your own iCloud account (CloudKit and iCloud Drive), under Apple's privacy terms. We can't read it.

Apple Intelligence

Titles, tags, summaries, text recognition and Ask your library run on your Mac with Apple's models, on the Mac itself. If you turn on Private Cloud Compute for long questions, those questions go to Apple's Private Cloud Compute, which doesn't keep your data. Relm never sends your library to anyone else.

Links you save

When you save a link, Relm fetches that page to make its card and summary, as a browser would. The site sees an ordinary request from your Mac.

Licenses and purchases

Purchases are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our reseller and merchant of record, under their privacy policy. When you activate a license, Relm sends the key and your Mac's name to Lemon Squeezy to check it, and checks it again about once a week. Nothing else is sent.

Updates

Relm checks for updates at updates.heyrelm.com. That request includes the app's version and your macOS version, as update checks do. We don't combine it with anything else.

Agents and the relm command

These are off until you turn them on in Settings. They only work on your Mac, and only with the spaces you allow.
